The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce the SSC JHT Notification 2024 on July 23, 2024, online at ssc.nic.in. On the same day, the application form for SSC JHT 2024 will also be available online.
The SSC JHT Exam 2024 is tentatively scheduled for October or November 2024 and is for positions like Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Hindi Pradhyapak in various government departments and ministries. The exam has two phases, Paper 1 and Paper 2.
SSC JHT 2024 exam will receive a salary scale of level 6-8, ranging from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,51,100. The SSC CHSL exam 2024 comprises two stages: Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Descriptive.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates with a master’s degree in Hindi or English can apply for the SSC JHT exam. The SSC JHT education qualification also differs as per various posts.
Age Limit
Applicants must not have crossed 30 years for general category candidates whereas reserved category applicants are given relaxation in the upper age limit.
Nationality
- Citizen of India or
- The subject of Bhutan/ Nepal or
- Tibetan refugee who moved to India, before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India, or
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
