RBI Assistant 2024 Exam – Notification
For the post of “Assistant” in several offices of RBI located across the country, the Reserve Bank conducts the RBI Assistant Entrance Exam. The exam is going to be conducted in three phases: Prelims, Mains and Interviews. RBI has four zonal offices, 19 regional offices, and 10 sub-offices in India. The zonal offices in India are in four metropolitan cities Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai.
Selection of candidates is done on a merit basis and according to merit, they get posted to zonal, regional, or sub-offices. After the RBI Assistant 2024 Notification has been released by RBI, candidates can apply online for this post.

RBI Assistant Age Limit
- Lower age limit – 20 years
- Upper age limit – 28 years
RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
- Both exams will be conducted online.
- For both the Preliminary and Main examinations, there will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests.
- 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Candidates qualifying for the main examination will be called for Language Proficiency Test.
Preliminary Examination
- The total number of questions will be 100 of 100 marks.
- Candidates will have to solve the paper for one hour.
- Candidates may choose the question paper language mode as Hindi or English.
