The Tamil Language Eligibility Test is a qualifying test only.
The Tamil Language Eligibility Test will be conducted in an objective type consisting of 30 questions for 50 marks and the duration of the examination will be 30 minutes.
The syllabus for the Tamil language eligibility examination is of 10th standard level.
The main written examination will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying one mark each.
The time duration for the main written exam will be 180 minutes.
