Educational Qualification
Candidates interested in applying must have completed their 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
Age Limit
Applicants should be between 18 to 23 years of age as of the closing date of the application. The cut-off date for determining the age limit is 15 February 2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
The upper age limit is flexible by 5 years for Unreserved candidates. For SC/ST and OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL), the relaxation is 10 years (5 + 5). Additionally, there is a relaxation of 3 years for OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL), making it a total of 8 years (5 + 3).
Physical Standards
Candidates need to fulfil specific physical standards, including requirements for height, chest girth, weight, and eyesight. Detailed specifications can be found in the official notification.
Sports Achievements
- Athletes of distinction who have represented a state or the country in officially recognized national-level games or championships (both junior and senior categories) or international championships endorsed by the respective Federation/Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, or organized by the Indian Olympic Association, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.
- Athletes of excellence who have represented their university in all India Inter-University Tournaments organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in the past three years, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.
- Athletes of distinction who have represented their State School Team in the National School Games organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) during the last three years, from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.
Selection Process
The selection process for the CRPF Constable GD under the Sports Quota involves several stages:

Females and candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are exempted from paying the fee.
