Education Qualification
General category candidates require a minimum of 60% marks in graduation from a recognized institution in any discipline. For a reserved category like SC, ST, and PWD, it is 55% or equivalent marks from any recognized college or university.
Age Limit & Relaxation
The candidate must be 20 to 30 years of age to apply for the Canara Bank PO exam. The reserved category candidates get a certain amount of age relaxation which can be anything between 3 to 10 years depending on the category.

Canara Bank PO 2023 Exam Pattern
The Canara Bank PO 2023 exam comprises Prelims, Group Discussion, and Interview rounds. The candidates must qualify for each round to proceed to the next.
General Exam Pattern Specifications
There is one online exam which is followed by the Group Discussion and Interview. The exam is in CBT format with Multiple-choice questions. It is qualifying in nature. The group discussion topic is usually impromptu ones shared on the spot.
Depending on the performance in the GD, the candidates are called for the interview round. The final selection is done based on the aggregate of CBT as well as GD and interviews. Some important points to note about the GD round:
- Candidates are given 3 minutes to note down the GD topic and their points for argument and it is conducted in two rounds.
- The candidates get a total of four minutes each. First two minutes, they have to discuss their point of view and in the next two minutes, they have to wrap up their argument. There is a 15-20-minute break after the GD and the interview starts after that.
