Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission conducted the combined examination for the recruitment of the 7301 posts under Group IV in the state. A total of 22 lakh people have applied for the TNPSC Group 4 exam across Tamil Nadu. Of these, 12.67 lahks are females, 9.35 lakh are males and 131 are the third gender. The exam was held in an offline mode on 24 July 2022. Now, the authorities have released the exam answer keys. However, the key released so far is tentative and the candidates will have to object to it. The TNPSC will curate a final answer key on the basis of the objections they will receive. They will examine the answer sheets submitted by the candidates on the basis of the final key.
The result will be released after TNPSC publishes the final answer key on the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission portal. The candidates will be able to download the result from the same portal as well.
TNPSC Group 4 Exam Merit List/ Select List
Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination, the tentative list of eligible candidates will be announced on the Commission’s website.
Candidates who score more than 90 marks will be considered for the Eligibility list. The cut-off score will decide the final selection of the candidates. The candidates whose names are displayed on the list need to upload all supporting documents in support of their selection.

Download Tamil Nadu Group IV Result
The candidates can download the result from the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, once it is released online. They will have to access the portal and download the tentative list of the candidates who are shortlisted for the next stage. These candidates will have to appear for the On Screen Document Verification. The result of the Group IV Written Examination will release on the portal soon. The candidates need to follow the subsequent steps in order to download it:
- Open the official portal of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission at https://www.tnpsc.gov.in/
- On the Home page, check the top menu.
- Click on the option of Recruitment.
- The dropdown list will open up and tap on the option of Results.
- Another dropdown list will appear on the screen.
- Click on the option of Latest Results.
- All the results which were released recently will appear on the screen.
