UPSC Recruitment 2024, Apply Online for Specialist, Scientist and Assistant Director Posts
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification to invite online applications for the Specialist, Scientist and Assistant Director posts. Aspirants can submit their applications using the official website of the organisation i.e. upsc.gov.in. A total of 69 candidates will be selected after completing this recruitment drive.

Educational Qualification
- Specialist Grade III: MBBS degree, Post-Graduate degree in the concerned discipline, with relevant experience.
- Scientist ‘B’ (Civil Engineering): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with research experience.
- Assistant Director (Official Language): Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with specified conditions and experience in translation/teaching.
Age Limit
There is a separate upper age limit for all vacancies notified in the UPSC Recruitment 2024 for Specialist, Scientist and Assistant Director posts. Aspirants should read the official notification for a detailed age limit analysis. The upper age limit for Unreserved candidates is given below:

Registration Fee
The registration fee is ₹25, with exemptions for Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates. The applicants may use the various online payment methods to pay their application/registration fee, such as Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, E-Challan etc.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a Recruitment Test followed by an Interview. The interview marks distribution varies based on the category, with UR/EWS requiring 50 marks, OBC 45 marks, and SC/ST/PwBD 40 marks.
