Tea tree oil has anti-septic properties that make it effective at killing bacteria and healing wounds. In addition to this, tea tree oil also prevents infections in cuts and abrasions. Tea tree oil is often used as an ingredient in mouthwashes and toothpaste because of its ability to kill bacteria and reduce inflammation in the mouth. Not only this, tea tree oil reduces bad mouth breath and tooth decay. Add a drop of tea tree oil to a cup of warm water and rinse your mouth for effective results.
